Welcome to the Africa forum! Thought it would be fun to have a place where we get to know a little bit about each each other, both as travelers and travel professionals.

To get things started, we are Karim and KC - Egyptian and American friends-turned-business-partners and we make up Authentic Egypt. We are based in NY/Luxor and sometimes Luxor/Luxor and have over ten years experience arranging private tours and providing professional travel planning. We LOVE showing people around Egypt. There's Cairo's unique chaos and thumping nightlife, Luxor's tombs and temples and Aswan's laid back, friendly and distinctly African vibe. More importantly, no matter where you are in Egypt, the weather's awesome, the history's mind-boggling, the food is tasty and cheap, the people are friendly and then there are those spectacular sunsets over the Nile. What more can you ask for?
