Day 1 – The Fairmont Ark: Your journey will begin as you drive north through the lush Kikuyu farmlands and coffee plantations to the cool Kenyan highlands and coffee plantations to the cool Kenyan highlands arriving at the Aberdare rain forest with an abundance of rare species. Set in this lush forest is a countryside hotel called the Aberdare Country Club, which is a stepping stone hotel for your lunch. Most of your luggage will be left here for the night, as you will be transferred to The Ark, which is designed with numerous viewing decks, balconies and lounges that allow you to watch animals visiting the waterhole and salt lick. Dinner and overnight of game viewing at the Tree hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2 – Samburu Lodge / Samburu Sopa / Sarova Shaba: Depart after breakfast and drive further north to the Samburu Game Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or camp where you are in on full board basis. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the reserve. Samburu is famous for its rare animals normally viewed in the north of the equator. These are the gerenuk, reticulated giraffe, beisa oryx, and grevys zebra. Additionally you will also get to enjoy the elephants, lions, cheetahs etc. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3 – Samburu Lodge / Samburu Sopa / Sarova Shaba: Full day in the reserve with early and afternoon game drives respectively. All meals and overnight at your lodge or camp.

Day 4 - Sweetwaters Tented Camp / Mount Kenya Safari Club: After breakfast, depart Samburu and drive south towards Nanyuki to the Sweetwaters Sanctuary. You will be able to sight one of Kenya’s greatest attractions – Mount Kenya. Arrive in time for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive within the sanctuary. This private game reserve is well known for its Rhino and Chimpanzee sanctuary. Dinner and overnight.

One of only four private game reserves in Kenya, Sweetwaters excels in the provision of privileged seclusion and private game viewing. Thanks to its private status it also allows such unforgettable pleasures as night game drives, guided bush walks and both horse or camel riding across its game-teaming plains.

Day 5 – Sarova Lion Hill Lodge / Lake Nakuru Lodge / Mbweha Camp: After breakfast, drive towards Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National park arriving in time for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park that also takes you to the shore of the lake, famous for its millions of flamingoes that form a pink hue across the lake. The park is also a rhino sanctuary for black and white rhinos. You might even get a chance to spot some leopards. Dinner and overnight.

Day 6 – Mara Sarova / Simba / Sopa: Depart after breakfast and drive towards the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Arrive at the lodge in Mara where you are booked in on full board basis. Check-in and have your lunch. Go for an afternoon game drive. Return to camp, relax, dine and enjoy the atmosphere. Overnight.

Maasai Mara is a world famous game reserve, which is the northern extension of the Serengeti. This amazing reserve hosts a huge variety of plains game and the big five - lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino. Drive off on the beaten tracks and through amazing landscape of flora, fauna and sheer African wilderness. The Mara is Africa's heartbeat.

Day 7 – Mara Sarova / Simba / Sopa: You have a head start on your day for your early morning game drive. This is your chance to witness animals as they emerge from their resting places with the sunrise. You return to your camp for breakfast. Enjoy the morning at leisure. After lunch, go back for your afternoon game drive and catch the animals in a different light. The African backdrop will mesmerize you and take your breath away with its colorful sunset and vast rolling grasslands and serenity. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 8 - Enjoy an early morning game drive. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Check-out and begin your journey back to Nairobi. You will arrive in time for a lunch stopover at the Carnivore restaurant. You will then be dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to catch your flight back home.
