HISTORIC ROUTE (Bahir Dar, Gondar, Lalibela, Axum) by flight

Day 1:Arrival Addis & city tour. Over night in a hotel

Day 2: Fly to Bahirdar. In the after noon boat trip on Lake Tana to the Island Monastries. Over night in a hotel

Day 3: In the morning drive to Blue Nile Falls to see the fall & birds. In the after noon visit the market and the hippos. Over night hotel

Day 4: Drive to Gondar. Visit the 17th century castles, Swimming pool, the churches. Over night hotel

Day 5: Fly to Lalibela. Visit the first group of the rock-hewn churches, which are built it in the 11th century. Over night hotel

Day 6: Morning trekking on mule back / drive to one of the churches out side Lalibela. In the afternoon visit the remaining part of the 11 rock hewn churches. Over night hotel

Day 7: Fly to Axum, visit the steles, churches (which is the first in the country) an archeological museum, ruins of palaces, tombs etc. Over night hotel

Day 8: Fly back to Addis, shopping in Addis.

Day 9: Departure back home.
