An All Inclusive 10-day adventure holiday to Cairo and Siwa Oasis in Jan 14-23, 2011

Day 1. Jan 14. Arrival to Cairo. Overnight in a local hotel in Down Town

Day 2. Jan 15. Guided tour to the Pyramids and the ancient bazars and mosques of Khan-el-Khalili

Day 3. Jan 16. Transfer from Cairo to Siwa with a stop at the WWII graves of Al Alamein and in the coastal town of Mersa Matrouh for lunch.

Day 4. Jan 17. Guided tour to the main historical sights of Siwa: the Mountain of the Dead, the Oracle of Amun, the Temple of Amun and Cleopatra's Spring.

Day 5. Jan 18. 24-hour desert safari with visits to Roman tombs, fossils fields, salt lakes, hot and cold springs, sand boarding and dune hopping in the Great Sand Sea, camping overnight in the desert.

Day 6. Jan 19. Come back from the desert by around 10 am. Afternoon at a swimming pool filled from a natural mineral spring.

Day 7. Jan 20. Visit of a local museum. In the afternoon (ladies only!) visit to a Siwan house for a cup of tea, some henna and lots of girly time.
Sunset walk to the Dakrour mountain followed by a dip in a hot spring at the edge of the desert.

Day 8. Jan 21. Friday market. Free day in Siwa. Activities confirmed locally

Day 9. Jan 22. Transfer from Siwa to Cairo.

Day 10. Jan 23. Guided tour to the Egyptian Museum. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
