MONTEVIDEO AND SURROUNDINGS - PRIVATE CITY TOUR

Tour lasts 4 hours aprox. and includes a visit to: the Old City, Cathedral and Colonial Town Hall, Club Uruguay, Solis Theater,18 de Julio Ave., Independence Square, Parliament Palace, the romantic neighborhood known as "el Prado", Batlle Park and beautiful scuptures; elegant residential areas like Punta Carretas and modern Pocitos. The return drive will teke you along the coast to see the long stretch of beautiful beaches.

The tour finishes at “Mercado del Puerto” (port market) for a traditional meal with top meats in the world and also music, crafts, and colorful people.

Different options available within this tour according to your interests.
1) visit to "ElCerro" a 500 feet hill overlooking the city and the harbour with it's colonial fortress. Adds 45 minutes to regular tour. No additional cost.
2) visit to "Los Yuyos" 105 year old bar to taste local "grappa" with herbs. Ads 30 minutes to regular tour. Grappa compliment from us.
3) Visait to boutique winery to see the vineyards, the wine processiong premises and includes wine tasting of three different wines.
