Welcome to the Middle East forum! Thought it would be fun to have a place where we get to know a little bit about each each other, both as travelers and travel professionals.

To get things started, we are Karim and KC - Egyptian and American friends-turned-business-partners and we make up Authentic Egypt. We are based in NY/Luxor and sometimes Luxor/Luxor and have over ten years experience arranging private tours and providing professional travel planning. We LOVE showing people around Egypt. The Red Sea offers some of the best snorkelling in the world and the sun shines 365 days a year. Moses Mountain (Mt. Sinai) gets thousands of visitors every year and the pyramids of Cairo and tombs and temples of Luxor are less than an hour's flight away. What more can you ask for?
